Metalpower Oy was established in 1991 and is part of the domestic and privately owned Terra Patris Group. Metalpower Oy has its premises located in Tyrnävä and in Kempele. 

In early 2006, Metalpower Oy, as well as the whole group, introduced the Powered ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system together with V10 financial management software which is included in the same product family.

Metalpower Oy has been ISO 9001 certified since 1998 and its business activities are based on the ISO 14000.
